If your staff were asked…
- How do you ensure the characteristics of effective learning are adhered to?
- How do you ensure the environment is enabling and covers all areas of learning?
- How do you consider the unique needs of the child are identified?
- What are the next steps for each of your key children?
Your staff must understand the requirements of the EYFS and be aware of changes. Ensuring this can be a lengthy and ongoing process. This enables staff to provide the best learning and development environment for children.
Confident staff work harder. Increasing confidence in your staff, ensuring their knowledge and ability are outstanding.
The GOAL of all nurseries should be:
“To inspire, support and maximise the skill of nursery practitioners to enhance the care, learning and developmental environment and opportunities for children”.
Providing training for your staff will boost productivity, boost morale and ultimately improve the learning and development of children.
The better the staff understand the EYFS, the more the children will learn and the happier parents/carers will be. Happy parents are ambassadors for your nursery.
